Supporting Young Families in Waco

 

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Central Texas is here to support your parenting journey for up to three years after your child is born. Come get equipped with the classes and resources you need to thrive as a new parent.

Alll of our support services are offered at no-cost to  you, regardless of circumstances.

 

At our Pregnancy and Parenting Support Site 800 W Waco Drive, we provide the following:

 

  • Emergency diapers, wipes and formula.

  • Peer counseling with our Client Advocates  to help you sort through challenges you may be facing - and make connections to outside referrals when needed.

  • Guidance in applying for social service benefits like WIC, housing, childcare, etc.

  • Assistance in obtaining birth certificates, drivers licenses, rental and housing assistance (requires application)

  • Earn as you learn education opportunities where you earn points that can be redeemed in our boutique filled with brand new baby and mom items.

  • A full calendar of classes on pregnancy, parenting and life skills (budgeting, cooking, journaling, etc)

  • Spiritual book clubs and bible studies when your spirit needs encouragement, as well as church resources if you're looking to find a spiritual community.

  • Bonding with your baby
  • Labor and delivery training
  • Breastfeeding
  • Potty Training
  • Car Seat Safety
  • Financial emergencies and budgeting
  • Cooking on a WIC budget
